Riverfront Vision

Our vision is simple:
Create a residential community that enhances the land, strengthens the town, and provides meaningful access to nature for generations to come.

Set along the Farmington River and anchored by a serene 14‑acre pond, we designed an 80-acre community to offer a peaceful, multigenerational living environment rooted in the natural beauty and heritage of Farmington.

A Community Shaped by Nature

The land at Enclave has a unique story. Once part of a sand and gravel excavating operation, the site has been disturbed for decades and lacks the ecological richness that defines much of Farmington’s river corridor. Our plan seeks to reverse that history by restoring natural systems, improving habitat, and creating opportunities for residents and the public to experience the riverfront.

Key elements of the nature‑connected vision include:
•   Restoring and enhancing previously disturbed areas
•   Preserving significant open spaces and natural features
•   Creating new walking paths and outdoor recreation opportunities
•   Establishing a quiet, private setting with minimal visibility from Route 4
This is a community designed to help you feel immersed in nature from the moment you arrive.

Multigenerational Living With Purpose

Enclave responds to Farmington's evolving housing needs by offering a balanced mix of townhomes and single-family homes.
This mix supports residents at different life stages -- young professionals, families, and those looking to downsize -- while maintaining the character and scale appropriate for this part of town.

Commitment to Open Space

One of the most significant components of the vision is the proposed conveyance of a substantial portion of the property to the Town of Farmington as permanently protected open space. This commitment directly advances Farmington's  long‑term goals outlined in the Plan of Conservation and Development, which calls for:

• Expanded public access to the Farmington River
• Preservation of riverfront landscapes
• Strategic acquisition of open space
• Protection of natural resources

Enclave is uniquely positioned to help achieve these objectives by transforming private, disturbed land into restored, publicly accessible open space.
