River Living Reimagined

Enclave is a nature connected residential community thoughtfully designed along the Farmington River to support multi-generational living and environmental stewardship. The expected resident profile includes younger renters, professionals, families and seniors seeking first floor living. A public walking path is proposed to provide river access for residents and the public. The property currently operates as a gravel excavation pit and construction equipment storage area without public access to the Farmington River.

  • Townhomes Featuring First Floor Master Bedroom Suites with Walking Paths to the River

Location & Status

Enclave at The Farmington River is a proposed development of contiguous land parcels located south of the River Bend at Farmington Assisted Living and the Farmington CT Temple encompassing land to  the Farmington River. As the land between Riverbend Assisted Living and the Farmington Temple is located in a conservation easement, there is minimal visibility from Route 4.

No development approvals have been obtained from the Town of Farmington.

Our Vision

Enclave at The Farmington River is envisioned as a nature-connected residential community where elegant living meets the tranquility of the Farmington River including 14-acre pond.  Our objective is creation of a multi-generational living environment that celebrates connectivity to nature. A substantial portion of the site is proposed to be conveyed to the Town of Farmington with open spaces in perpetuity. Acquiring additional open spaces along the Farmington River is referenced as a long-term objective in the Farmington Plan of Conservation and Development.

Plan of Conservation and Development (Summary Excerpt-POCD)

“The Town has acquired over 2,200 linear feet of river frontage through the purchase of open space land. The acquisition of additional riverfront land continues to be one of the highest priorities of the Town’s Land Acquisition Committee”.
